Complete the next steps for custom server setup, including servers, domains, and additional IPs.

To proceed with your custom server setup, please follow these steps:
1. Acquire the Dedicated Server:
To set up your email server, ensure your dedicated server meets the following specifications:
RAM: Minimum 32GB
Storage: Minimum 500GB
Operating System: Ubuntu 22.04 (Linux)
Root Access: Required for configuration

Before placing your order on the OVH website, select your country first.

Global: (other than USA Residents):

Ensure you select the correct configuration while placing your order.

Select the OVH dedicated server (or any other dedicated server with 32GB+ RAM and 500GB+ storage) based on your preferred datacenter location.
Click 'Continue order' and complete the order.
Important: Before purchasing, create an OVH account with accurate details, as identity verification (government ID & address proof) may be required.
2. Purchasing Additional IPs:
After purchasing your dedicated server, you can request additional IP addresses from the same server provider. Your dedicate server includes one default IP, but 60 additional IPs are required for setup.
For OVH, you can add IPs through their control panel after logging into your account.
Once your OVH dedicated server is activated, you can purchase additional IPs via: OVH Control Panel → Bare Metal Cloud → Network → IP → Order IPs.


Before placing the order, you must first create the organization by filling in all the required details. Then, select that organization in the final step while ordering the IPs for your dedicated server.

ARIN manages IP allocations for North America (USA, Canada, and parts of the Caribbean).
RIPE NCC manages IP allocations for Europe, the Middle East, and parts of Central Asia.
Users residing in the USA and Canada can select ARIN, while others can choose RIPE. Please ensure that your server's data center is also located in the corresponding geographical region.
After clicking "Continue my order," an order number will be generated.
Click on the order to proceed with payment. The OVH team will allocate your IPs within a few hours.
3. Obtain the Domains:
You can purchase additional domains from any domain registrars like GoDaddy, etc.
For the server setup, you can use any .com domains. If you have the spare domains, it can be used; otherwise, you can purchase a new one from GoDaddy or any domain registrar.
Important: Avoid using the domains that already hosts a website, as the setup process will involve installing a web application and SMTP setup, which may disrupt your existing site.
However, you can still use your existing domain for sending emails to your contact list with our white-label (or reseller panel) solution.

4. Provide Necessary Details:
Please provide the following information for the server configuration:
Domain Control Panel: Username & Password (or set up the provided nameservers)
OVH Control Panel: Username & Password
Server Root Access: Dedicated server's access credentials (provided via email).
